Month of April has been a rather busy month when it came to Fashion Illustration, one of my greatest passions. I had lots of commissions but one that topped it off was the one with MIMCO. They decided to celebrate The Art of Mum by offering their customers a customized fashion illustration created by yours truly.
In a collaboration with MIMCO and their new May range of shoes, bags and accessories I created four MIMCO Muses which underpin the aesthetic inspiration for each of their collections. They represent diversity and individuality of the MIMCO woman and epitomise the magic of their design.
The four muses that inspire MIMCO style are Dishevelled Princess, Rock Grrl, Fembot and Warrior.
Which muse inspires your style?
Earlier in the year I had a privilege to sit down for an interview with an aspiring journalist Zoe Rice for the autumn winter issue of The Vine - a Burnside Village free magazine. We spoke all things fashion, art, inspirations and me being the Burnside Village ambassador and one of the judges for their Fashion Illustrative competition. Read the interview below or grab your free copy next time you are out and about.
Last Thursday morning I had a fun little photo-shoot with the lovely Finesse Models Akaysha Adderly and Emma McIntyre. The photo-shoot and the interview was organised by The Advertiser's very own Fashion Editor Anna Vlach. Thank you for honouring me with one of 20 South Australians to watch in 2016.
SA's MOVERS AND SHAKERS
VISUAL artist turned designer Prodanovic is South Australia’s brightest new star in fashion.
TAFE SA’s Fashion Student of 2015, the 30-year-old’s graduation collection has received admiration from the internationally-renowned and fellow Adelaide designer Paolo Sebastian creator Paul Vasileff.
Prodanovic, who was raised in Serbia but has called Adelaide home since 2004, plans to stay here and build his eponymous label.
“I would love to dress anyone from Lady Gaga to Kylie ... Cate Blanchett ... there’s a long list,” he says.
